Madonna della Provvidenza. Our apartment is across the street from the hospital and around 4pm today fireworks went off followed by a marching band. I ran outside and saw a parade of people walking onto the hospital groups lead by a marching band and carrying a Saint.

Duomo Di Nola
Feast of the Lilies or La Festa dei Gigli where 8 Gigli towers and a Boat are erected each year and danced through the streets of Nola in honor of San Paolino. It takes 125 men to carry the Gigli with a band playing on it at the same time as they dance it through the streets and the Piazza Duomo.
Caesar Augustus died in Nola 19 August 14 AD.
